Unboxing Humans: Unlocking the Human-to-Human Business Model

Work puts people in boxes labeled by job title. This siloing not only limits talent development but also inhibits organizations from leveraging the full knowledge, skill sets, and innovation in their workforces. Only by unboxing humans, and tapping into what makes every individual unique (and weird!) can employees, managers, and organizations all win together. This session, led by the host of Unboxing Humans podcast, covers how leaders can look beneath the surface of their team members to effectively leverage their talent. Through an interest-first approach, leaders walk away with practical tools to attract and retain great talent, turn unconscious bias into conscious action, and align the right people to the right work! Talent wants purposeful and fulfilling work, which is great news for leaders who know how to unbox their workforce. Leaders gain: - Valuable tools to attract and retain exceptional talent - Transforming unconscious bias into deliberate action - Ensuring the right people are matched with the right tasks

One thing that really stuck out to me about Hire Women Week was how open all attendees, speakers, and hosts were to interact. I had so many meaningful networking conversations and instantly was brought into the community. I attended events both virtually and in-person and this applied to both. At other conferences I've felt it was so hard to even say hello outside of awkward introduction exercises. Hire Women Week really set itself above the rest and made me feel comfortable and welcome from start to finish.
